Humanity Horizon shines brightly as a beacon of hope and positive change, embodying the unwavering dedication and passionate spirits of individuals coming together to advance human dignity, environmental sustainability, and global peace. Since its establishment in November 2016, Humanity Horizon has emerged as a prominent non-profit organization making a substantial difference, particularly in African communities. It is driven by the core principles of equality, sustainability, and harmony, and remains committed to fostering a brighter future for all.
At the heart of Humanity Horizon lies a profound vision to rekindle hope, tolerance, and justice, ensuring that each person leads a life filled with dignity and prosperity. This vision fuels a steadfast commitment to fostering a global culture of mutual benefit, encapsulated by the values of people, planet, and peace. By championing these ideals, Humanity Horizon endeavors to eradicate poverty, heal the environment, and foster a worldwide community interwoven with threads of justice and peace.
The journey of Humanity Horizon began as Success Planet Network Uganda in 2015, in Offude Village, Oluku Sub-county, Arua District, with a primary focus on mentoring and supporting disadvantaged youth facing the challenges of poverty, social issues, and educational disparities. The transition to Humanity Horizon symbolized an evolution in vision, approach, and scope, marking the inception of a powerful and inclusive movement dedicated to driving positive global change.
Under the leadership of Ogwal Bonny Emmanuel, the CEO and founder, Humanity Horizon has ventured into new frontiers of development-oriented initiatives, emphasizing community participation, governance, and policy influence. Through impactful programs such as Health and Humanities, Hunger and Food Security, Poverty Graduation Program, and Social Policy and Evaluation Program, Humanity Horizon has extended its reach from local communities to national policy platforms, affirming its commitment to uplifting humanity.
Humanity Horizon's endeavors are tailored to address pressing contemporary challenges, including unemployment, poverty, limited access to education and vocational training, mental health issues, land and capital constraints, and the adverse effects of climate change. By implementing innovative approaches such as the Poverty Graduation Program and community-engaged projects, Humanity Horizon aims not only to provide aid but to empower communities to develop, implement, and sustain transformative projects.
Targeting a diverse range of individuals and communities, including children, youth, vulnerable populations, women, and girls, Humanity Horizon tirelessly strives to elevate lives, cultivate self-reliance, and promote resilience across Africa. Its commitment is evident in the various programs addressing critical issues such as water and sanitation, adolescent and sexual reproductive health rights, nutrition, maternal and infant care, feeding programs, pre and post-harvest management, disaster risk reduction, mentorship, networking, financial literacy, democracy monitoring, peacebuilding, gender equality, human rights, and GBV.
In essence, Humanity Horizon encapsulates a journey of transformation, hope, and empowerment, inviting
global partners to participate in reimagining a horizon where prosperity, dignity, and justice are accessible
to all. Through a collective dedication to its vision and objectives, Humanity Horizon continues to illuminate
the path toward sustainable development, leaving an indelible impact in the hearts and lives of those it
serves. As much more than an organization, Humanity Horizon stands as a legacy of positive change,
heralding a world where every action contributes to a transformative horizon of humanity.
