We are seeking five enthusiastic and dedicated Program Support Officers for our Digital Literacy and E-commerce Skills initiative. This project aims to empower individuals with essential digital competencies and equip them with the knowledge to thrive in the e-commerce landscape. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in supporting training programs designed to enhance participants' digital skills and understanding of online business practices. These positions require individuals who are not only well-versed in digital technologies but are also passionate about teaching and guiding others in navigating the digital world efficiently. The Program Support Officers will collaborate with trainers, stakeholders, and participants to ensure seamless program execution. You will have the opportunity to contribute to community empowerment and economic development by fostering digital literacy and e-commerce skills in various demographics. This role will require a proactive approach in identifying the needs of the program participants, providing logistical support, and ensuring that all training sessions are effective, engaging, and impactful. Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of digital literacy and e-commerce training sessions.
  • Provide logistical support for training programs, including scheduling, materials preparation, and participant coordination.
  • Conduct outreach to identify and engage potential participants in the training programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate participant progress and provide feedback to trainers.
  • Collect and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of training programs and report findings to management.
  • Facilitate hands-on training sessions and workshops to enhance participants' e-commerce skills.
  • Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to promote the program and enhance its impact.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Education, Information Technology, or Business.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of experience in program support or management in a humanitarian or development context.
  • Strong understanding of disaster risk reduction principles, particularly in conflict and famine settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies and NGOs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis, including the use of relevant software tools.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages relevant to the regions of focus is an asset.
