Humanity Horizon: Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Response Plan (DPERP) is devised to present a comprehensive strategy tailor-made for effective response to international and community-specific disasters and emergencies, with an incisive focus on Uganda. Recognizing Uganda's exposure to many natural and human-initiated challenges, including floods, landslides, drought, epidemic outbreaks, and conflicts, Humanity Horizon finds it imperative to deploy a robust mechanism. This mechanism would align with international standards, notably those propagated by the United Nations, and resonate with Uganda's local nuances and capabilities.
