Impact Goals & Forecast

When Humanity Horizons was incorporated in August 2024, we didn’t launch with a donor campaign. We launched with a promise — to prove that transformation could begin without waiting for funding. In 2025, we kept that promise. We received zero donations. Not a single coin. Yet we trained thousands, reformed classrooms, restored land, and activated youth leadership across Uganda. Every milestone was sustained through commercial and corporate trainings. Every outcome was earned. And every story was stitched together by courage.

We remember the early days. No office. No budget. Just a borrowed classroom, a chalkboard, and a group of youth who believed that education could be different. That it could prepare them not just to pass exams, but to survive droughts, lead communities, and build futures. We didn’t have donor dashboards. We had dashboards of dignity — hand-drawn maps of impact, tracked by students themselves.

This section outlines our strategic goals for the next quarter and year. It’s not just a forecast. It’s an invitation. Because when you give to Humanity Horizons, you’re not funding a dream. You’re scaling a reality. One that’s already alive. One that’s already working. One that’s waiting for you.

Education Reform & Policy Development (ERPDP)

In 2025, we piloted ERPDP in three secondary schools in Arua. We trained 12 teachers and 6 administrators. We activated 200 Green Intellectuals and 2,500 Climate Ambassadors. Students built gardens, led clean-up campaigns, and created solar prototypes. Schools became hubs of innovation, resilience, and leadership.

One girl, Joan, stood in front of her class and taught climate science using a banana leaf and charcoal sketches. Her school had no projector. No lab. But it had her voice. “We don’t need perfect tools,” she said. “We need permission to lead.”

Now, we’re ready to scale.

2026 Goal: Expand ERPDP to 47 additional schools across Uganda

  • Train 500 teachers and 100 administrators
  • Reach 10,000 students with climate-integrated curriculum
  • Launch 5 regional Climate Action Hubs
  • Host 10 district exhibitions showcasing student innovation
  • Publish youth-led policy briefs for national adoption

Each school will receive curriculum kits, teacher training, student facilitation support, and monitoring tools. Each region will host summits, campaigns, and community dialogues. And every donor will receive verified impact reports, dashboard access, and story bundles.

Roots of Resilience

In 2025, we trained 200 farmers, built 3 seed banks, installed 5 water systems, and reached over 500 refugees and host community members. Youth launched composting businesses. Women’s cooperatives began producing organic vegetables. Rooftop gardens sprouted in urban schools. These weren’t just projects. They were livelihoods.

Mama Florence, a grandmother in Nebbi, used to wait for rain. Her soil was dry. Her hope was fading. But after our training, she built a garden that now feeds her grandchildren and supplies the local market. She mentors 15 other women. “I used to wait,” she said. “Now I harvest hope.”

2026 Goal: Scale Roots of Resilience to 10 districts

  • Train 1,000 farmers in agroecology and water harvesting
  • Build 10 seed banks and 20 water systems
  • Activate 5,000 youth leaders in climate-smart agriculture
  • Launch 10 refugee-led green businesses
  • Integrate resilience modules into vocational training centers

Each district will receive toolkits, facilitation support, and community engagement campaigns. Donors will be matched with seed banks, water systems, and youth-led enterprises — with quarterly updates and impact dashboards.

Climate Literacy Hub

In 2025, we produced 12 youth-led podcast episodes, launched two radio campaigns, and hosted five summits. Our media reached over 5,000 listeners. Diaspora networks responded with mentorship offers. Youth voices shaped public discourse. Storytelling became a tool for movement-building.

Sharon, 16, recorded her first podcast in a noisy corridor using a borrowed phone. She spoke about climate justice, and her words reached listeners in Canada, Kenya, and the UK. “I didn’t know my voice could travel,” she said. “Now I know it can build bridges.”

2026 Goal: Launch 5 new regional Climate Literacy Hubs

  • Train 500 youth in media, storytelling, and advocacy
  • Produce 50 podcast episodes and 20 radio segments
  • Host 10 regional summits and exhibitions
  • Engage 20,000 listeners across Uganda and diaspora
  • Publish youth-led media toolkits and advocacy guides

Each hub will be equipped with recording kits, editorial mentorship, and distribution support. Donors will be featured in episodes, thanked in broadcasts, and invited to co-curate content.

Cost-per-Impact Snapshot

We believe in transparency. Every shilling is tracked. Every gift is matched with a metric. Here’s what your support can achieve:

  • ₤500 = 1 teacher trained + 1 student toolkit
  • ₤1,000 = 1 school activated + 1 community campaign
  • ₤5,000 = 1 Climate Action Hub launched + 1 district exhibition
  • ₤10,000 = 5 schools scaled + youth-led policy brief published
  • ₤15,000 = 3 seed banks + 5 water systems + 10 refugee businesses

Every donor will receive quarterly reports, dashboard access, and personalized story bundles. You’ll see your impact in real time — and in real lives.

Why Your Support Matters

Humanity Horizons didn’t begin with donations. We began with belief — that Uganda’s youth, refugees, and educators could lead climate resilience from the ground up. In 2025, we received zero external funding, yet trained thousands, built seed banks, reformed classrooms, and launched youth-led media — all sustained through commercial and corporate trainings. Now, the demand is growing. Schools are asking. Communities are ready. Youth are waiting. Your support will scale ERPDP to 50 schools, activate 10,000 Climate Ambassadors, and expand Roots of Resilience to 10 districts. Every shilling is tracked. Every gift matched with a story. You’re not just a donor — you’re a co-leader in systemic change. Sponsor a school. Fund a seed bank. Co-lead a summit. Because when education is reimagined, everything else becomes possible. Join us in building futures that are climate-smart, locally rooted, and globally relevant. The movement is alive. Let’s scale it together.
